Child Safety Poster Contest

The Attorney General’s office is committed to protecting our children, whether through law enforcement or through events that emphasize awareness of child safety issues.

Each year, the Attorney General sponsors a statewide Child Safety Poster Contest. The contest is open to all Arkansas students, from kindergarten to fifth grade. The students are asked to incorporate this year's theme of "Bring Our Missing Children Home."

Preparation and creation of the posters gives parents and teachers an opportunity to explain dangers and teach students strategies to stay safe. Entries must be submitted by January 20, 2016, and the winners will be announced in April. The winning poster from the fifth grade is entered into the National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest hosted by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
